Parish Council History
The Freckleton Parish Council was established
in 1894. Freckleton was divided into East and West wards in 1964
and these remain to the current time. Until 1974 Freckleton was
administered as part of the Fylde Rural District Council, after
the council reorganistaion the parish has been under the jurisdiction
of Fylde Borough Council.
Council web sites
The Freckleton Parish Council have been
very active in creating their own web sites. They provide information
about the actions and plans of the Parish Council. The minutes of
previous meetings are available on the sites in PDF format. The
Parish Plan site has now gone, as the Plan has been completed.

Public Member Council Meeting Notes
Public attendence at the Parish Council meetings
is poor, usually only 3 or 4 people. Whilst I have attended all
the meetings in the last year or so and made notes at each, it would
appear that nobody is interested in reading them! My Internet Host
records show that no one has downloaded these notes, so I have decided
to stop publishing them. If there is any interest then please email
me by clicking the link at the bottom of the page and expressing
your opinion!
