The library provides free use of computers, internet access and email as well
as books, CDs, Videos, Photocopying and faxing services. Parish
Council and local information is also displayed in the library.
The following reading clubs and groups are available at the library.

| Family History Group |
Every 3rd Tuesday moring of the month from
10:00 till 12:00. Just drop in. Everyone welcome. |
| Pre-School Story Time |
Every Tuesday at 2.30pm till 3.00pm. Come
along and listen to a story. For children from the age of three. |
| Chatterbooks |
The book club for children aged 8 to 11
is held once per month on a Thurday at 3.45pm to 4.45pm. The children
discuss the book they have just read and are given another for the
following month. They also make 'things' relevant to the books. Refreshments
(squash) are provided. |
| Monster Reading Challenge |
Youngsters from the age of seven upwards will be
able to earn special collectors cards from a list of 30 exciting
genres like Girl Power, Boys Stuff and Famous Facts.
The scheme is there to encourage children to read and develop the
love of reading. It will take them a while to collect all the cards
but it will show children that they can have fun reading and open
their eyes to a whole new world. Lists of each category will be
available in all the libraries so kids can decide which type of
book they wish to read.

| The Bookstart Book Crawl |
Giving children a lifelong love of books.
For children from aged 0 to 4. Certificates and stickers are awarded.
This is a government backed programme. More details can be found on
their web site.

| Adult Reading Group |
The first session starts Friday the 28th
January 2005 at 10:30am for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. We will
read one book per month and then meet to discuss it in an informal
and friendly atmosphere. Refreshments will be provided. |
