The Armitage family are newcomers to Freckleton having only arrived in 1998. We would like to have a positive impact on the local community!

One of the reasons why I wanted to create this site is due to the difficulties we experienced when we first arrived in the village. Our house needed decorating, fixing and changing to meet with our tastes. Local trades people do exist, but they are not easy to find.

It took me a long time to find things out. mostly by word of mouth and I thought it would be a good idea to save others the same trouble. Even now I am still learning of businesses and trades people I didn't know existed before I started collecting the information to create the site.

Freckleton is a lovely place to live and we hope to be here for a long time.
