The clinic was rebuilt during 2005 and finished in March 2006. The Co-op pharmacy is located inside. Rumour has it that the justification for the new health centre was based on a survey of visitors to the old clinic! The new building is architecturally 'interesting', particularly the 'watch tower' feature. One of our visitors has likened it to a POW camp!

CONGRATULATION YOU'RE HAVING A BABY...

My name is Bonnie Cramman. I am a Birth and Postnatal Doula.

A Doula is there for you and your partner, she will stay with you throughout your labour, however long. A Doula's role is to make sure the mother has a positive and enjoyable birth experience. The mother should be made to feel safe and supported. Throughout your pregnancy you will get to know your Doula so that during labour you will trust her and feel more confident. I believe every women has the right to the birth she wants. Every birth is unique and is an amazing experience.

A Doula does not support the mother in a clinical role. That is the job of the midwife/medical team. A Doula doesn't make decisions for you, she will only offer you her advice, and support you in whatever decision you make.

I look forward to speaking to you in the future. See my web site, call me or email for more details.

We all know that eating healthily is the best way to lose weight and that building in some extra activity helps too – and our generous Food Optimising plan and lifestyle activity programme have been created to make that easier that you ever thought possible. At Slimming World, however, we know that to lose weight – and keep that weight off for life – you need something extra.

To change the habits that have formed over years — sometimes decades — slimmers need in-depth support and encouragement, and that's so much more than praise on a good week and commiseration for a bad week.

Slimming World truly is the club that cares. We promise every member that they'll be treated with genuine warmth and respect, and they'll have access to a support system like no other, offering a positive approach and real empathy and understanding throughout their weight loss journey.
