The clinic was rebuilt during 2005 and finished in March 2006. The Co-op pharmacy is located inside. Rumour has it that the justification for the new health centre was based on a survey of visitors to the old clinic! The new building is architecturally 'interesting', particularly the 'watch tower' feature. One of our visitors has likened it to a POW camp!

CONGRATULATION YOU'RE HAVING A BABY...

My name is Bonnie Cramman. I am a Birth and Postnatal Doula.

A Doula is there for you and your partner, she will stay with you throughout your labour, however long. A Doula's role is to make sure the mother has a positive and enjoyable birth experience. The mother should be made to feel safe and supported. Throughout your pregnancy you will get to know your Doula so that during labour you will trust her and feel more confident. I believe every women has the right to the birth she wants. Every birth is unique and is an amazing experience.

A Doula does not support the mother in a clinical role. That is the job of the midwife/medical team. A Doula doesn't make decisions for you, she will only offer you her advice, and support you in whatever decision you make.

I look forward to speaking to you in the future. See my web site, call me or email for more details.

The Satellite Dance club is an extension to the main dance school based at Kirkham Community Centre, Kirkham, which caters for all ages from 3 to 103, with classes for many different styles of dancing.

The Freckleton club was established in January 2003 to accomodate the growing number of children in the Freckleton area interested in dancing. Since it's opening in January 2003, it's popularity has continued to grow. The children are taught ballroom, latin american, freestyle, western line dancing, salsa and many more styles of dance according to their age, by qualified dance teachers, in a fun filled atmosphere at the hall.

Adult Social Dance classes, which started in April 2004, are also held in the Memorial Hall on Wednesday evening. Learn how to Waltz, Quick-step, Rock 'n' Roll and Cha Cha Cha, as well as many others.
