The Freckleton web site is a showcase for the village. It informs people of the businesses, facilities, services and amenities that are available locally.

Who is it for?

The site is for the people and businesses of the village and those who would like to live, work or visit here.

What are the benefits for my business?

There are a large number of businesses in Freckleton. Some are more obvious and easily found than others. Most local people know that the village has a number of shops and a couple of pubs. A surprising number are unaware of what the shops sell, how competitive they can be or the benefits of buying locally. Most do not know of the myriad of other businesses and services that available locally.

It is my hope that the Freckleton web site is the place that people go when they require any information about Freckleton and the local area.

Advertising normally costs money and does not always reach your target audience. The Freckleton web site is free and is targeted at the people that you need to reach.

What else is there?

The History pages provide a guide to the history and development of the village from ancient times to the present day.

The Out and About pages show local places of interest, things to do and places to go.

The guestbook is an area of the site where people can leave their views, make recommendations and comment on things that effect their lives.

What does it cost?

The Freckleton web site is a community project for the benefit of all. It currently costs nothing. In the longer term it is hoped that the site will be self-supporting by making a small charge for business entries and adverts. It will however remain none profit making for the foreseeable future.

What do I do now?

All I need from you is a short description of your business and/or the services that you can provide. If you have any pictures or logo’s that you would like to include then these will be welcome, although I do reserve the right to decide what will be included on the site.

If you have any aspirations for the future, or ideas to assist with the site, then these are also welcomed.
